BackinThatAzzUp yknow how it is

A happy friday and a yelp of TGIF isn't complete without leaving work and turning on the radio. You instantly hear overplayed Katy Perry, Drake, and Paramore (Hey, who even are you?).

Sometimes we get in funks (or at least I do) where all I want is new music to jam to. If you are part of that club, you've come to the right place, homes.

Eric Hunker - On My Way
. I know Eric from a personal level; He was a music instructor at my camp. His voice? Will make you melt down to your toesies. If it doesn't? Well, I'm not sure if you are even human. His music is feel good, relatable, and something you can sing your big heart out to. If you find him on iTunes I recommend downloading Ocean. If you find his Pandora station, you can find some John freakin' Mayer and Jack Johnson. You have total permission to leave my blog to go listen to Ehunks the rest of the day. Also, can we talk about HOW MUCH OF A HUNK he actually is?
Yes please make him your next Mancrush monday and follow him on twitter! (@EricHunker)
Jesse Ruben- We Can. Ok my friends got me hooked onto him. I know these two handsome dude's don't have frat jamz and shenans like that, but they are so worth listening to. Highly recommend it. I've never seen him live, but ALL my friends do and they just leave swooning over his perfectness. My fave songs by him are We Can (obvi), Ace of Spades, and Bleecker and 6th. Hey Jesse, marry me?

D-WHY- Young Madonna. So if you know ANYTHING about me, you will understand D-WHY is my perfect dude. He sings, he has perfect facial hair, and he is dark haired. get me in. Thankfully I am seeing him in a few weeks (AHHH, Breathe Rachel...), and I will lock him in a closet and bring him home. I mean scream my little crushin' heart out. His lyrics and voice flow in a way that can only be described as smooth. And two of his songs are filmed in Europe (Young Madonna/Macchiato Music). See told you I'm totes in lurv. I first discovered him from boys posting about him on facebook newsfeed and it was love at first listen.  His stuff isn't slow and definitely feel good music. I mean like sunny day, driving with the windows down and feeling like a straight up G. He's also a huge coffee lover, so I mean we're meant to be. Can't wait to send y'all the invites!

Other jamz worth listening to:
Boy Oh Boy -Diplo
I'm Out -Ciara
Pompeii -Bastille
Replay -Zendaya

Here's to linking up with Whit!

Tuesday Tunes

Freshman year. In frat basements. #Classy

Being in the car with my mom as a kid.

Things songs a bit weird, but it always relaxes me. My dad ALWAYS played this as a child, and I still love it. It makes me want to close my eyes and fall asleep.

Riding Solo by Jason DeRülo on Grooveshark
JUST WHO DOESN'T LOVE THIS SONG. Single or not, you better be jammin'. Reminds me of summers with friends blasting it. Always always always.

What Dreams Are Made Of by Lizzie McGuire (Hilary Duff) on Grooveshark
Reminds me of happiness. The Lizzie McGuire Movie is my happy go-to movie!

M.I.A, and some favies of mine

psh. please don't tell me you've never heard anyone abbreviate some words to make them sound like a total girl (read: totes, legit, fabbyfab, ya get the point). Hi! After some roadblocks and by roadblocks I mean brain farts for blogging, and a busy week, I am ready to relax.

1. beach day: got so lucky! Didn't read past page 8, but it will become my summer read!
2. twins: what do you think? (we're not actually related...)
3. change: of hair color as usual. You can't tell but it has a super red tint to it which is odd because the box said dark brown. yooooooou liaaaaaar!

see what i've been checkin' out this past week:
-Miss USA for PETA. they're all just really great people, and I think if you don't appreciate animals, you need to look more into this and STOP wearing animals!
-Wanna go to Disney? Me too
-Old school Fall Out Boy. YEEEEES. cue my weird scene wanna be days
-Best vines. Wasted away a good hour watching these. Sadly, some of them are hilarious too!
-I've been eating cowtales (super yum) and craving some chocolate covered gummy bears (a must have)!

**
My butt will be glued to the couch for ever on sunday. Miss USA. 9PM. Be there. or be me, and wish you were there.

What would you do with 20 seconds?

Alright. Think about it. And I mean think about it.
Don't just scroll through this post like its no big deal.
Have you ever wanted to do something but couldn't muster up the confidence (Cue tears for its a Teddy Geiger 'For You I Will' reference)?

stop being lazy and do something!

Here's what I would do...

Well first let's get me out of my bed. or off the sofa scarfing down a tub of Ben and Jerry's peanut butter world ice cream. YUM. Maybe I'll somehow get the courage to be really aggressive and find a job, since my dad lives by the motto of if you aren't aggressive then people see you really don't care

With all this courage I hope to learn how to budget and not spend every paycheck the instant I get it (which I just did). In no way am I spoiled, I just stink at saving my money. need to learn, NOW

Sooooo I've gone ranting and made it from courage to Teddy Geiger lyrics to trying to tell you that I am not spoiled. If you're still here...hi! Normally don't just post about nothing interesting soooo here's the picture of the type of puppy I want.

ULTIMATELY, what would you do if you mustered up the courage to do something and didn't look back? I hate how with girls, including me, we let how people perceive us, or the silliest of things that don't even matter really affect us

*P.S: I appreciate YOU if you've made it through this post because this is utter nonsense and I've had a writers block for days...Any advice?*

You were right

I cannot thank you enough for all of your comment telling me how amazing of a concert Luke Bryan & Florida Georgia Line were. You were right! I danced the night away, stomped my feet in the Georgia (jk) mud, and rolled my windows down and cruised! FGL & Luke were both amazing performers. Check out my time at Dirt Road Diaries tour:

(Being on the lawn means you get terrible pictures but a solid view)

(My DIY bow I made from a flag&hair tie!)

(During Muckalee Creek Water I went on my friends cousin's shoulders and it was the coolest thing ever. I had THE perfect view)

I was so upset that Thompson Square wasn't able to make it but hands down the best concert I've ever been to. Luke pulled a 5 year old boy on stage during Country Girl and it was the sweetest thing. He also saw the crowd holding signs for an 18 year old boy leaving in a month for the marines and he pulled him on stage and there was a huugeeee U.S.A chant. I had the chills!

**

Off to celebrate my one year! I figured out what we were doing early since his original plan was to take me to Hershey Park but it's supposed to rain around there so were checking out the Phillies game today...SO excited!

So inspiring, too.

This was a bit of a shakeup to start my morning, safe to say I'm in tears.

come sing along

I bet you that you don't even realize sometimes but there are songs that automatically make you really happy right? Since it's summer and I diagnosed myself with seasonal depression, it means I am now happy happy happy (yep, it's true).

Also, who doesn't love the feeling of driving with windows down, warm weather, and BLASTING their fav tunes. No, I actually mean BLASTING. and screaming your head off like no other. (read: that was totally me last night)

Sister Hazel- All for You
Confirmation: throwback songs are THE best

Thompson Square -If I Didn't have you
yea, I basically cry at this song sometimes because I'm a girl. So there's that.

The Maine- Right Girl
If you enjoy what I said before aka blasting music like no ones business, I recommend downloading this song nooooow.

Lana Del Rey- Young and Beautiful
Amazing song via Gatsby soundtrack!

I Don't Want This Night to End- Luke Bryan
Because, well...he's a beauty.
