Little things in life mean the most, ya heard?

Have you ever read the book Things to Be Happy about? Or Been on the website?
Have you ever just had that nice breeze of happiness when you think about something that fills your heart with warm and fuzzies?

Go explore the website. It will have you leaving with appreciating the little things in life more than you know.

What will you find on my happy list? Well...

Frank Sinatra. His voice, regardless of the age. It's truly timeless to me, and reminds me of my parents blasting it during car rides as a child. Clearly he has such a big impact on my life that I name part of my blog after him. Kind-of-a-big-deal? Heck yes.

Polynesian Hotel at Disney in Florida. Something about that hotel makes me so happy. I love when I get random whifs of who the heck knows what smell it even is but sometimes I find it and it brings me back to my childhood running around on a cool Florida morning getting ready for brunch at my favorite hotel. Also associated with Disney, the GREATEST place ever aka instant happiness.

The color yellow.

Smooth Jazz. Again triggers a sense that reminds me of my childhood.

Sunsets.

Singing in the Rain (the movie). Granted I love singing in the rain like literally singing in the rain, but I love the feeling of an old fashioned movie and songs.

Pageants. Psh as if ya didn't know that about me.

Cinnamon Sugar Eggo waffles that haven't been toasted. Trust me they aren't like rock hard coming out of the fridge (for whatever reason) so I eat them cold. and I am a happy child young adult.

Reconnecting with friends you haven't talked to in a while and you talk as if you haven't missed a single day.

Thinking about days at sleep away camp.

Working at a summer camp and seeing the little girls flock to you because they admire you so much and want to be just like you.

How close I am to my immediate family.

Discovering new songs...which are soon put on repeat forever.

The fact I can basically go to ANY state and know I have a friend I could stay with.

Israel. Israel. Israel. Israel. My forever home.
(and the memories/friendships I've made on my trips)

PUPPIES. obv.

Watching home-videos/reminiscing on family inside jokes.

When my role model acknowledges me.

The Jersey Shore. NOT THE TV SHOW. The place I've gone every summer of my entire life.

Birthday celebrations.

Old school disney movies.

Having to visit a Margaritaville every family vacation we go on.
On that note? Jimmy Buffet

Finding a new book that you just can't put down.

Family movie nights.

Summer concerts with best friends (and a summer shandy..shhh!)

Linking up with my spirit animal, Whit for back that azz up with some feel good jams.

Happiest I've been in months

Okay so maybe I'm just really happy because I got great news tonight, and drank some wine, or just had a great night with friends and decided to "buzz"-ily, write this post at 1AM. Leggo.

You know how I told you I was so stressed? Now that I made my life simple, I am stress free.
I seriously have too much time to focus on netflix, but I mean, I won't complain too much.

Last weekend I went home, and took a trip to my old school. My 2 hour trip turned into about 3 and a half. SO many people to catch up with, but that day I knew I was generically happy. My baby (car), actually got it's second paid for car wash for his two year old birthday. Yep, I celebrated.

I also enjoyed the little things in life this week:

The sunsets, the long drives to think, the new clothes, the arts, my new fave watch from target, and friendships.

I also just realized I posted the guitar picture twice. But hey, it was a great start to the week so guitars, keep doing you. Thanks for bringing excitement to my monday nights of netflix.

I even had a chance to throw on a scrunchie (well, because yolo) and a big sweat shirt. I called it my "am I 5 years old or a new character on Saved by the Bell" look. I'm fine with the second one as long as we can find me my own A.C slater. Yum. #ManCrushMonday

Last night? Rain obvi only calls for wine and netflix. FINALLY catching up on Desperate Housewives about 5 years later. #TeamTomScavo. Later, my closest friends got done their events for the night and we all kicked back, relaxed, and quoted Mean Girls endlessly like it was our job. We even found a youtube vid with the greatest quotes. Four for you Glenn Coco. AND NONE FOR GRETCHEN WEINERS BYE.

I can't help it, I get excited when Mean Girls is brought up.

My awkward "I'm excited to be alive" face is pasted up on the far right for all y'all to judge see.

Today is my fall break and I am more excited than a child gets when they color outside the lines. Or when a dog see's another pretty dog. You know what I mean....

I get to see my friend from my one travel trip that I haven't seen since May 2012, as well as my "twin". I mean no we aren't related but we've been told for years now that we look almost identical when we smile. It's the asian squinty eyes, ya heard.

Here's to never growing up. And backin' that azz up with Whit.

To simply brighten your day:

Thursday's can suck. You are ONE day from the weekend, and it just so happens to sometimes be the longest day ever. Find yourself giggling while reading my post. Hopefully with some morning/afternoon coffee, or even a big bite of your favorite guilty pleasure food. Yes, you deserve it!

"If you like cute dog & baby stuff, you'll love this" so accurate and true.

Brave kid. He even produced/released a great song. What a legend he is leaving behind.
So inspiring, too.

This was a bit of a shakeup to start my morning, safe to say I'm in tears.
