rGd loves #TheSelfie (A giveaway)

Hey you. Because I'm comparable to the most interesting male in the world, here's what you might want to know about me...
+My style is preppy meets hipster (ya know, things you see on tumblr now a days...)
+Pizza lunchables are my absolute favorite thing in the world (#winning)
+Beyonce is pretty cool and I think her and I would have a great time cruising the west coast in a top down pink convertible
+I am a sucker for monogram anything. You name it, I probably have it monogrammed. Car decal, hat, clothing (x5), and jewelry out the wazoo.
Selfies are a must because sometimes having professional pictures is overrated. Mmmmkay?

The work behind Cardinal Gift Etsy shop is incredible. All the pieces are acrylic yet half of them (like this one), you really can't even tell. Unless you're crazy and inspect it under a microscope. I love pairing my Tortoise shell monogram necklace with higher necklines (I got the 16" one!) and think it's absolutely perfect. I've gotten compliments left and right, and I obviously couldn't have done it without the man the myth the legend behind Cardinal Gift. Like any other etsy shop, it was reliable, great customer service, and got exactly what I had hoped for.

Thanks to the hard work and awesome partnership I created with Cardinal Gift Etsy shop, we're able to present to you....your own tortoise shell monogram necklace with gold chain. Fo free. Even if you don't win, you are eligible for a discount (since you rock and read Sunshine and Sinatra)!
Make sure to type in the promo code 'SUNSHINEANDSINATRA'!!!

I'll let you soak that in for a minute. Yes, it's free. And all you have to do to be in a drawing to win is follow the steps below.  You must complete all entries with information asked of you. You have one week to enter, so get 'er done. Win for yourself, your gal pal who is monogram obsessed (send her my way), your mom, or even the special someone in your life with a really great monogram. I have the exact same monogram as my grandma, who recently just passed, so wearing my monogram daily is a reminder that she is always with me.

Two Chainz ain't got nothin' on us...

I was at my sister's just this past weekend and picked up the chunkiest of necklaces. I wrapped it around my neck and basically laughed because it was comparable to a 5 pound weight tied around my neck. They clearly don't call Two Chainz that for nothin'. I got home and decided I need to figure out where I could obtain a two pound necklace. The answer? Chloe and Isabel.

When browsing C&I, I learned that each merchandizer has the chance to make their own money from what they sell, which I absolutely love, considering I'm on the verge of #starvingartist/college student myself. The more effort and promotion they put into their sales, they obtain great networking skills as well as money to help expand their future rendezvous.

If you've seen my style, I'm too too simple of a person. I enjoy the dainty rings/bracelets and ever so noticeable necklaces. I think I own all of one chunky necklaces, but I've really been on the hunt for more! This spring, I'm oddly interested in changing my look from everyday prep to find me on tumblr I'm a hipster. I'm daring to try new looks, #ArmCandy and all.

WordPress plugin

The chosen one? This bad boy. Seascape statement collar necklace. Is on my must have list, since I'm all about those under the sea pastels, here's what I would pair it with:
Top: Madewell | Pants: J.Crew | Necklace: Chloe and Isabel | Sandals: Nordstrom

Chloe and Isabel not only has the cutest of jewelry, but they help a girlfriend out. And like wine, we like helping our gal pals. So what do ya say? Pop on over.

Chloe and Isabel is the new NY Times [It's cool, I won't tell], so browse a bit and let me know when you find something you like!

I was compensated for this post in the form of an item and/or a payment, however all opinions are my own!

Are you a rebel?

Skipped class? boy I hope not
Ever do anything your parents told you not to do but you did it anyway?

I mean, I'm sure that was me at one point just nothing to extreme because I've never been to much of a wild child.

However, sophomore year of high school I begged my mom for a second piercing because I thought  it was cool since everyone did and and I just wanted to be trendy. Jeez mom, I mean do you want a teenager who is not cool or something?!

Back to my point. I was between searching for sorority stuff and jewelry when I came across Catchy Things Etsy. Mia is a teenager who is super trendy and cool. Like have you seen her shirt dress? I wish I was crafty and smart enough to design something like this!
(via twitter)

I came across her gold cuff because I've been dying to see myself with a cartilage piercing, although I know I would never cave in and get a real one. I AM A BABY. okay!?
I finally got mine in the mail the other day and I was so excited! She even added a heart next to my name. It's the little things okay!? I raced up to my room and cut it open!
Ugh I can feel the coolness running off of me. #Brushingthedirtoffmyshoulder, Brb.

She even was so cute and added hair ties, for free, which was awesome because I was seriously thinking about trying them out the other day! I've been using it now and I love how cute they look! She also sent me a blue and white one, sup sorority colors!

Free ahir ties cuz yolo? Does she know that we are twins because I say because yolo too often, too?!

Make sure you check out her shop! I can't stop looking and feeling trendy with my cuff!
Thanks for being awesome, Mia!
Check out her twitter & etsy!

Arm party? Party on your arm?

Can I get a special blogger award for blogging while on vacation? See, I wasn't going to but then I found out that today's post wasn't going to work for well...today. So I made another that I wasn't planning on doing until after I got home - but this one makes me so excited! I loveeeee nothing more than some stylist bracelets. (Alright, sue me, couldn't think of anything more exciting for an intro for a post about my fave go-to bracelets to add some pizzazz for my outfits.) True story I originally spelled 'Pizazz' 'pizza' when trying to spell it out. I hate pizza. Tired? Yes. Don't judge.

Don't mind my uber hair blonde arms. Heyyyyy how ya dern'.

Alex and Ani bracelets are the shiz. Check out my post about the best friend and crown (#1&3) here. Affordable AND cute bracelets....buy some for ya friends. or ya self. I know a girl who has 10. And wears them constantly. Now, that's a bit much. I also hope she doesn't somehow find my blog post about Alex and Ani because she is cleaaaarly OBSESSED. Lowest priced bracelets start at $34! Get to it!

Now call me crazy because I don't have charms on my pandora (#2), but I love the simple chain look! Granted these are on the more expensive side, esp. if you get all dem charms! It does look pretty classy (with a C. You know it's fake classy when you say Klassy with a K...right?)...like something my mom would wear. Which is strange that I would like that, but my moms a pretty trendy lady. Gotta Admit.

99.99% of you haven't heard of Joyce Leslie (#4), I'm guessing! It's a cheapo-ghetto store (like wet seal, but better). I enjoy browsing around the store and getting greeted by the random asian man at the front of the store. Except I do hate when I feel awkwardly guilty like I'm going to do something bad and he walks around the store to check on me. HE DOESN'T EVEN GO SHOP HERE! But for a cute lil' crop top/colorful shorts/last minute shopping for a part-ay -- this store is a-okay. Anywho, as I was checking out I found some big 'pearl' earrings. spot on! because that is just what I was looking for. As I was completing my slow maze around the jewelry area, I discovered this cute yet weapon looking bracelet. It was $7.99 which can be considered cheap for the way it looks (not falling apart or anything) yet I'm broke and $7.99 is a loooooot for a bracelet that can potentially stab someones eye out. Don't worry I'll keep it away from everyones faces. Not sure why it would be in your face, though.
I'm not funny, I swear, I just like to ramble about complete nonsense.

Are there any bracelets that you love to sport?!

Also, screw passionfruit (sorry - cute name though!!! reminds me of summer/happiness/yummy-ness)..

We did it!

Happy one year to me & B!
...of course he forgets to hide the food behind his back....

But boy am I obsessed with this new pic of us! So obsessed that I decided to revamp my blog since I'm really enjoying the color red recently.

*****

Have you heard of Alex and Ani jewelry? Their bracelets are so cute AND very inexpensive. I cannot stress that enough. I know people that have so so many and get addicted to buying them. The charms on the bracelet (depending on what type of bracelet you get) usually represents something (i.e power, loyalty, etc). They also have ANYTHING you could possibly be looking for....your initial, favorite sports team, birth stones, astrology signs, and even sororities! My roomie this past year bought them as if they were going out of style. The women who owns/creates this line was an Alpha Xi Delta (and so is my roomie, thus her chapter hosted fundraisers with them). She eventually took me to Princeton, where they have a store, and I saw the price and said Hey why not! We got the best friends one since she still angry about me transferring.

Blaming my roomie for my newfound addiction, I spotted the crown one (Being that I love pageants way too much). I knew I had to have it so I suggested to B that he should buy it for me since
1. He couldn't go wrong with buying me something he knows I'd like 2. Its inexpensive 3. If a student, you get a college discount. 4. Every month they have a select bracelet that is five dollars off (May just so happened to have the crown) Hello, perfect! Can't wait for you to be mine!
