Here's whats up

Yelll-o. This is a posty fulla' listies and words that make no sense.

Recently I have been:
-Away at school
-Trying out sorority life
-Involved with really awesome clubs and organizations shoutout to hercampus
-Focusing on getting good grades and all that fun shenans like a thing called a gee-pee-ayyyy

Currently:
-Superdeduper stressed with sorority life. Clearly I stink and can't handle the damn time commitment and I always question myself is my heart really fully into this? and the answer turns out to be no. which is something I didn't want to happen. Being so stressed has caused multiple break downs all day everyday to the greatest people ever aka the people that created me. My dad just tells me to keep it simple and thats what I gotta do.

After much much much counseling/going back and forth/pro and con lists/playing eenie meanie miney mo (maybe...) this is whats going down:
-I am going to a community college next semester.
-Finding a part time job and catching up on all my lost credits from transfering so many damn times.
maybe I'm just not meant to be somewhere for more than a certain amount of time?
I've gone to 4 different schools (2 HS and 2 Universities) within the past four years.
-After next semester, I will apply to schools in my state and fingers crossed graduate from wherever I chose to be.

...and I thought life was easy.
But now ya have it.

All you nosey people wondering when my sorority posts would come, they are not. On the reals I wanted to share but if you just wanted random words that made no sense and would be only really comparable to me slamming my fingers onto whatever keys I want and producing a post that way, well...I really just have nothing to say. Don't worry, I'd be just as nosey too

For the record, I am finally feeling like my self again and I truly believe everything happens for a reason.

  1. It sounds like you're making the right decision. That much stress is just no bueno for your mental and physical health. I hope this break allows you to recenter yourself and find a school that works for you. Good luck!

  12. I'm feeling the same way. I keep changing my major and I'm not sure if I'm happy with my school. I really want to take a year off but I can't because I'll lose my scholarship. I think I'm gonna do online school next year but it's such a scary change!!! I think you're making a good choice here!

  13. Oooh, what an intriguing post! I was in a sorority in college and loved it, but there is drama and it is a time commitment for sure. I guess it is super important to pick the right one with the right girls? Hope you figure out what YOUr balance is, I can't wait to read about it:)

  14. I felt that way about sorority life too.. but it's totally worth it! What sorority are you in? Just give yourself a little more time if you feel like you need it!

  15. Sorority life can be supa supa stressful, but you just have to remember to put what you can into it, and always keep grades and your sanity as your first priority! If you actually quit (I don't know if you're thinking of doing that) then I think you'd regret it. Just putting it out there! I, well, kind of hated sorority life- but I wouldn't take it back either. Because I love what it stands for and I love that it is something I'm going to be a part of for the rest of my life. I'm here to talk if you need to talk to someone who will be completely real about being in a sorority :)
