Thats not my name

Danielle Rachel? That's not my name.
I have been referred to as Rachel Danielle since August 4th, 1994 at 9:41 in the morn'.
Which sounds better? Exactly.
Shoutout to my sister for telling my parents how silly my name sounded as Danielle Rachel.
Rachel Danielle just flowed better. And I agree. It looks pretty stellar on all of my monograms.
Not really sure why I got the name Rachel, but I am so very honored that I was able to share the initials RDG with my grandmother, who just recently past away a month ago.

I got my middle name Danielle after my Dad's brother, who would be my uncle.
His name started with a D. (remember my first name was supposed to be Danielle???)

So you've got your birthname, your nicknames, your funky pet names, but most of you do not have a hebrew name. It's coolio, I didn't expect you to unless you are jewish. Or just somehow got an offish one because you thought it would bring excitement to your life.
דאוידא מיערא
It's spelled Davida-Miera (Da-vid-a My-ear-a)
Ha ha. My ear-A.

D, again, after my dads brother and Miera because it translates to Michael, which was a similar name to my dad's dad, whom I've never met

I don't ever go by my hebrew name. Like ever. Not even when I was younger and had to go to religious school. When I was in Israel last, I bought a necklace with Rachel written in hebrew....and like every time I go to Israel, I loose something. Well jk I didn't loose it til I got home. and then I moved. and then it went bye-bye and I haven't seen it since.
Less than blog-approved picture, but do ya see it!?

However...I discovered www.mynamenecklace.com and ordered a new one FOR CHEAP. and free shipping can I get a holla back yo!? They don't just have that. If you've seen Sex and the City you know about Carrie's necklace. Go explore! ...You saw that its cheap and free shipping, right!?

I mean besides the name Rachel being awesome, she was a pretty cool lady back in the bible creation days. Or so I've heard. Some people tell me I don't look like a Rachel which is fine. But I hate how there are about 220 other Rachel's with the same exact first and last name out there. I WISH I WAS UNIQUE. Like a unicorn, ya feel?

Such an awesome linkup, go check it out and add your story!
