Some things that make me feel uncomfortable? Probably when I don't feel comfortable with my outfit yet I decided to throw it on and suffer all through the day. Or when I get scared I won't have enough money for a toll and hold everyone up. Or even that awkward moment when boys try to dance up on ya backside and you say no and they walk away and that's the end of it. (But hey some are creeps).
Ya feel me when I say you HATE awkward encounters that you never expect?
Well...do you remember B? If you've been around since this summer. The answer would be yes.
Do you know what Tinder is? It's a silly creepy iPhone app that you can match yourself with someone of the opposite sex and if you match, you can talk. I usually sit on it when I'm with friends and judge people on it. Then again I wonder why I'm on it and what people think of me...
Well. I'm here to tell you that a #singlegirlswag adventure of mine has turned into an embarrasment-fest. While browsing sunday night before I go to bed; clicking like on the hot dark haired guys (are we shocked?) and pushing the big red X on the losers, tools, and guys who are so not my type, I came across him:
For the sake of his awesome family, they get to be hidden. B's had enough exposure up in this URL.
AHHHHHHHH. What do I do. What do I do. LOLERSKATES. ROLLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING. WAIT....
...he's on tinder? Ew. JUDING YOU
...but damnit so am I...
To make matters SO much worse. I scrolled through his other pictures.
This was my nightmare coming true. No for realsies ladies, I wondered if this would ever happen considering he is only 4 miles from me...
If you are asking who that girl he is lovingly and closely grabbing, that would be me. All me. 100 freaking percent. Why wouldn't he at least crop me out. Damn some boys need to learn some basic picture editing skills.
So being DUMB DUMB DUMB, I texted him saying "Haha look what I just found. Too funny."
His reply: "Haha wow thats so weird yea I just got it the other day for shits and gigs".
Me: "Yeah I was searching with friends and found it and it made me laugh- bound to happen eventually I guess".
Him: NO RESPONSE BECAUSE Y'ALL BE OVER.
I embraced the awkwardness...in a way...and now I both know we are lame-o singles on the creepiest app made in america. (Besides those locate the creepy scary people in your neighborhood one).
Have you ever had an awkward encounter with a friend or ex?
Share & make me feel better!
Oh gosh that is awkward.
ReplyDeleteI never have even heard of that app, but that is def awkward!
ReplyDeleteAhh! My girls and I judge people on tinder too, but I've seen SO. MANY. guys from high school on it. I'm always extra careful to "next" them.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAH what?! Your life...
ReplyDeleteawkwardddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!! OMG
ReplyDeleteThe first time my husband came to visit me when we were first 'together'...his ex-girlfriend just so happened to be visiting my town at the same time! The friend he was staying with and a lot of our mutual friends were spending time hanging out with her while he was in town--they didn't meet, but it was slightly awkward timing!
ReplyDeleteOh wow yes definitely awkward! I've definitely had my share of Tinder fails. Boys are just all around not so smart..
ReplyDeletehahahahaha soooo awkward!!!
