Fireworks, segways, and exhaustion

I sure hope you aren't judging me for blogging at 820 on a friday night. Lame-o I know. I have a case of straight up exhaustion though. Too tired to move from my bed...so BLOGGING IT IS!

Uhhhh so Rachel, why are you so exhausted? I'll tell ya why!

Wednesday night: Had my segway 'orientation'. We got to get a better understanding of how to navigate a segway. It's been three days now and I still suck at stopping. It was fun though! True story aka you might want to skip over this: When I was in 8th grade I used to take classes at a talent agency. 6 years later, I go to segway orientation and my talent class teacher was there. working the corners with some segway-age (sorry doesn't make much sense oh well) action. Never know who you'll meet again! I was so so so so soooooo thrilled it only lasted 45 minutes so I was able to hop on over the bridge to B's house. I didn't even ask to come over I just showed up. and he didn't have time to say no. Thank gosh because we went to dinner with his parents, which was a blast! Love great people. Then we watched HGTV and I took a nice nap. Disclaimer: We're still in college. But whatever I love me some HGTV.

Thursday: DA FOURTH. I didn't tweet anything really patriotic. Or insta any flags. Or even wear red white or blue. Sue me. I did, however, have my first day on the job. What did I have to do, you ask? Ride a segway around people. Awkwardly interupt conversations or confront people who didn't want to be bothered by us if they wanted some free water. WHO TURNS DOWN FREE THINGS. ESPECIALLY WATER. It's hot out thurrrr people. But it was fun. Minus the fact creepy high schoolers ask for my number and a ride on my segway. How about no. Buh-bye.

Here lies the proof:

Seriously. I can't believe I even posted this. So embarrassing. The hat made me look like I had a huge bubble of a head. Also I got yelled at for promoting McDonalds. Like excuse me I'm promoting frozen drinks not obesity in #Murica...thankies.

ANYWAY...We got done early and Bam! Dinner&Fireworks. I went to B's house without him since his parents were shmoozing with some friends and I got a front row view of some 'fworks (just made that up...I should probably be sleeping instead of writing this). Also, his mom was so excited I was there to show me off to her friends. And people were so happy to meet me. Maybe because they are shocked to know that quiet ole B has a sometimes not so quiet girlfriend. So here's some more pictures for your bored-of-reading-eyes:

Hope you enjoyed your fourth festivities!
Now get me to bed! Happy weekend!
