(Aka my favorite blogs I consistently read)
I am still a baby blogger, but hey it's totally ok!
Although I don't have triple digit followers, I love the ones I got!
I have been blogging for about 9 months consistently now, and just by blog stalking and searching the web, I learn so so much!
Are you a baby blogger too?
Even if you are not, I have compiled some of my favorite resources to help you take steps in the right direction.
Some things are taken from other bloggers posts, and credit will be shown we needed!
+Grab My Button Code Generator. HELLO GENIUS. Sometimes, we get brain farts and forget HTML (shout out to learning in my Myspace layout days). This code is HTML-free for you. All you need is to plug in information and you are on your way! This is awesome for super baby bloggers, too!
+Hate those obnoxious stand out borders around your picture? Psh, me too. Actually. Read this step-by-step to help you be border free!
+50 blogging tips. Ever have a blogging problem? This will answer all of your questions. Not sure how I discovered this but it is great and saved on my bookmarks!
+Saturday Sessions with VTIM. Check back every saturday for tips on how to improve your blog with Sarah! I have learned so much by just sitting in bed on a saturday morning to see who is posting what at ungodly saturday hours.
+www.picmonkey.com. I hope you've heard of it! Want to make a collage? Or edit a picture? Heck, even make some fun circle social media buttons; thats where I make mine! PicMonkey is an easy website and free that lets you edit your pictures however you like. I like to think of it as a few steps up from Picnik. Anyone remember that one? ;)
I am a baby blogger too! I just started my blog about eight months ago. I am slowly learning how it all works. I hope one day to become a big blogger.

ReplyDeleteAnyone thinking about forking out a thousand bucks to get photoshop.... that is just silly. Use picmonkey if you don't already have photoshop! Thanks for the love, my friend!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is seriously so helpful. You're the best!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this! Us baby bloggers need all the help we can get. Love youuuuuu, friend. Emailing you soon.
ReplyDeleteHey your r my "big" and I think you're doing fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteI love ur new look. Adorable!
Baby blogger to baby blogger, maybe one day we will become toddler bloggers? It's only a hope!
ReplyDeleteLove this! It took me about a year or more to break out of the double digits and almost three to get to triple:) Slow and steady win the race! Plus, your tips are so great! I use Picmonkey every single day and adore it, and it's free:)
ReplyDeleteI feel that that there is just too much emphasis out there on being a small or big blogger. The impact of a blog, a writing space, a photo shared can never be determined by a number. That is something that I've learned and has helped me a great deal in just doing what I love and not worrying about being bigger. :)
