You can't say you don't remember the Augustana song that you used to sit in the car staring out the window pretending you were in a movie. I promise I'm not the only weirdo that did!

A few weeks ago, I was able to visit Boston for my cousins wedding! In it for my dad brother and I was some sight seeing (obvi, a favorite hobby of mine), trying new things, and seeing extended family that asked you the same question twenty times and all we could do is awkwardly chuckle (read: "sooooo when are you getting married? // where do you go to college? what's your major? etc).
Regardless, here's what I did during my trip!
(top to bottom; left to right)
1. QUINCY MARKET. Whatever food your in the mood for, they got it. It's also so exciting to people watch!
2. Meet puppy! I got to visit one of my best friends for the night and her new precious puppy too since they live right outside of Boston! Alright, I just honestly want a puppy already! But we went to Hibatchi near Beacon Hill! Yum.
3. Fenway Park. Although I am and always have been a Philly sports fan, seeing an older stadium was such an experience! Too bad I didn't go to a game
4. TD Garden, where hockey/basketball plays! If you are ever in Boston there is a 'sports museum' tour but it's actually in TD garden. It was sketchy at first and I was totally skeptical about it but it ended up being cool, even for me (read: my brother and dad dragged me there). We got to walk around the hallways of TD garden, which was filled with Boston history and we actually got to sneak a peak at the New York Knicks practicing until we got yelled at!
5. Wedding time! Awesome ceremony! Mixed their two heritage traditions, shared some laughs and it even made me cry. Soooo, whens my wedding?
6. Hampshire House aka the outside of Cheers. 'Nuff said.
7. Obviously when visiting Boston, you have to check out the Boston Tea Party. All I can say is L-O-L. What an experience. It's always good to reinforce what you already know and learn new things. Ugh yes, the history nerd in me.
8. Outside of Quincy Market/Faneul Hall there is a Holocaust memorial with the 6 million numbers that were tattooed on prisoners during the Holocaust. It freaked me out a bit, the overall memorial, for reasons that you would never expect.
9. Lastly, prewedding time! My little brother was an usher in the wedding and he was SO cute standing up there with all the taller and older men! He had such a fun time though.
I hope I am able to go back sometime soon! Any recommendations for my next visit?
Yay Boston!
