unexpected tuesday post: Lilly

Happy tuesday!
I hope your sitting with your windows wide open, blowing in a nice cool breeze as you drink your morning tea/coffee!

What was your reaction to the amazing lady who dared
to mix colors with adventurous patterns death?

It automatically lead me to Pinterest search some quotes of hers.

I had a blain blast and realized that my mom used to constantly dress me in Lilly, and when I was younger I thought it was cute because she bought us matching patterns. As I entered middle school, dealing with kids who only knew of clothing only by the names of Hollister, Justice, and Abercrombie, I knew that Lilly wouldn't be acceptable. I told my mom how I thought it was 'stupid' looking and I never wanted to be caught wearing these clothes. Booooooyyy was I wrong

I would totally post a picture of me in Lilly but I have no access to old photos since I'm at school....but I totally will as soon as I get home and have a chance to look through things!

I love that today, I always find myself pinning the newest Lilly dress to using my super cute Lilly 'you gotta regatta' large agenda. (You can find it here!) Being that I am a broke college student, I think the right choice is for me to save up until I can buy a summer Lilly dress...like this one! (I love the design on the bottom!)

Her legend will forever remain...what a lady, may she rest in peace!

Who remembers this girl?
I'm such a fan of buzzfeed and came along this article about how Eloise would be if she lived in 2013.
Instagrams, to snuggies, to uggs & some Nashville (which has yet to be taken off of my 'need to watch' list).

If you remember anything about this trendy toddler living in the city, you remember her pink accented room. How I wanted that room so badly when I was younger. I mean, I would still take it today, too!

For some odd reason I can almost never put into words,  I want to name my daughter Eloise. I guarantee it wont go
over well with some, but I think its such a cute spunky name, also being that Eloise was a childhood
favorite of mine, it just works. (Sorry future husband...)

I love the pink everything, everywhere. I love the outfits.
I love her New York life. I love the name Eloise.
